Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited to introduce Heidi Goblirsch, Executive Director. Heidi started with BBBS in November of 2015 and has quickly demonstrated her expertise in case management, passion for helping youth in our community, and skill at creating community connections.
Heidi came to BBBS from UMOM New Day Center, the largest family homeless shelter in Arizona, where she worked as a Community Outreach and Housing Stability Case Manager and Development Services Specialist. Prior to the positions she held at UMOM, she worked as an office manager, licensed massage therapist, and lead teacher. She completed her Bachelor of Elective Studies degree from St. Cloud State University, focusing on Community Psychology.
In Heidi’s role as Executive Director, she oversees the day to day operations of BBBS, coordinates and manages all Big-Little matches, leads fundraising activities, and maintains community partnerships.
If you decide that BBBS is the right fit for you as either a family member of a child in need or an adult who is looking to make a difference, Heidi will work with you one-on-one to make a match that meets your needs and will help facilitate the new relationship.
Heidi and her husband Kyle has three children, Treyton (12), Brayden (8) and Adelynn (4). They are life-long Minnesota Gopher fans (which we don’t hold against them) and are excited to be back in the Midwest for our beautiful summers (but aren’t nearly as excited about the winters!)
